First of all, thank you all for a very successful
Superstar Sunday Holiday Gift Drive!!! We raised over $1,000 for local Los Angeles and Long Beach AIDS hospice residencies, thanks to your support. Over 200 AIDS patients were delivered holiday gifts on Christmas Eve this year, and we are so thankful that we were able to help out. If you would like to be a part of this amazing concept, please let me know but also read my closing paragraph about Secret Admirers. Thank you again to the Normandie Room, Louise's, Sexy DJ, and all the amazing artists that donated pieces!! You're great!!!

old news! We're already on to Valentine's Day - where did this year go??? I decided to take it easy in January but now I'm back in full swing with a lot of incredible things happening in 2007!!! First of all, Chinese New Year is this Sunday February 18, and this will be MY year - the Year of the PIG!!!! If you were born in 1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995 then this will be YOUR year too!!!! Check out this profile - I think it fits!!
The Pig of Chinese Astrology may be the most generous and honorable Sign of the Zodiac. Pigs are nice to a fault and possess impeccable manners and taste. This Sign believes in the best qualities of mankind and certainly doesn't consider itself to be superior. Pigs also care a great deal about friends and family and work hard to keep everyone in their life happy. Helping others is a true pleasure for the Pig, who feels best when everyone else is smiling.
Pigs are highly intelligent creatures, forever studying, playing and probing in their quest for greater knowledge. They can be misinterpreted as being lazy, however, due to their love of reveling in the good stuff; this Sign could happily spend hours on end making love, napping, taking a long bubble bath or dallying over an incredible spread of rich foods. Pigs tend to make wonderful life partners due to their hearts of gold and their love of family. Even so, Pigs can be rather exclusive, choosing to spend time with those who will appreciate them most and ignore the rest of the populace. First of all - the pinkest of all the holidays is upon us - the holiday created by Hallmark - I mean who really knows why we celebrate Valentine's Day? Let me know...but in order to avoid restaurants with insane fixed menu charges, obnoxious prices on roses and chocolates and all that other mushy stuff (which is a huge bummer if you're single) come join me at Legendary Bingo!!! With lots of sexy prizes and hosts - JERRI MANTHEY! (Survivor, Survivor All-Stars, The Surreal Life) & PATRIKA DARBO! (Days Of Our Lives, soon to be seen in "Moving McCallister" with Mila Kunis and Jon Heder) and at 9 PM with special guests DEBRA WILSON SKELTON! (MadTV, Scary Movie 4, Over The Hedge) & SAM PANCAKE! SUPERSTAR SUNDAYS ARE BACK!!!
Our first Superstar Sunday of 2007 will benefit the incredible new non-profit called EXTRA Cans For The Needy created by our very own Mystery Mike with help from dear friend Alicia! ECFTN is dedicated to ending homelessness by encouraging people to recycle cans and bottles and to donate the recyclables to the homeless. By participating in this worthy cause, people increase their
awareness of homelessness through direct interaction.
Please join us at Safari Sam's for Pajama Brunch served noon to 3 where a percentage of all purchases will directly benefit ECFTN. Also featuring incredible raffle prizes and BIG drinks and best of all - DJs Spining your favorite tunes all afternoon!!!

DONATIONS ALWAYS NEEDED!
Also, as we support so many important causes, we are always looking for donation items for our events. We can use anything for either raffle prizes, silent/live auction items, donations for AIDS residencies and homeless...here are a few ideas so please pass this on to any corporation or individual that may be able to contribute:
- artwork
- advertising
- alcohol sponsors - both bottles of booze for a prize and sponsors for events
- graphic design services for flyers
- gift certificates for restaurants, masseuses, headshots, hotels, etc.
- tickets to games, concerts, events, amusement parks
- new blankets, t-shirts, socks
- dvds
- cds
- books, magazines
- products like candles, bath items, promotional items, hats, etc
- you name it, we'll find a way to use it!!!
SIDE NOTE: The next time you buy postage stamps spend an extra 60 cents and buy the stamps for cure for breast cancer - why not make a difference when possible?
SECRET ADMIRERS WANTED
Lastly, I am looking for a few secret admirers!!! Last weekend I delivered some art work, blankets and socks to a new AIDS residency in Long Beach and they were so thankful and appreciative. This home houses 10 men all fairly to severely ill with AIDS related illnesses. This home is very nice but needs some energy so if you have any art work, plants, NEW blankets, socks, games, books, etc that you'd like to donate please let me know and we'll make it happen. Lastly, I thought it would be very beneficial for these patients to get some encouragement and love from the outside world - does anyone want to become a secret admirer to one of these 10 men by sending cards, care packages etc to them? If so please let me know.....if anyone wanted to send a Valentine off that would be so sweet....
